Vivika + Otto Heino ceramic vessel
Vivika and Otto Heino glazed ceramic vessel, mid-late 1960’s. This piece was likely produced at their studio in Hopkinton, NH several years after the Heinos returned to the East Coast, after an 11 year stay in CA, in 1963. The form and glaze are very distinctive of the Heinos’ work, especially from this highly influential period of their careers:
an excellent, earlier example of Viviko and Otto Heino’s ceramic artistry.
